Shelley is a professional coach and competitive athlete who has been training runners, cyclists and triathletes since 1980. In 2005 she founded Get On Your MARK, an outdoor fitness and endurance training company dedicated to improving the performance of recreational and competitive athletes. It's been her lifelong passion to actively promote fitness as a safe, healthy and effective way to empower individuals to a new level!
Shelley is a USA Cycling Expert Coach, team leader, educational speaker and motivator. She developed and coached both a co-ed cycling club and triathlon club in Chico, CA as well as "Learn to Ride" and "Learn to TRI" clinics.
As an avid cyclist, she has completed countless century rides and many multi-day bike tours. Her most recent multi-day ride was the Amgen California Classic Ride for the Arthritis Foundation, from San Francisco to Los Angeles. She is currently experimenting with road racing and time trial races.
Shelley has acquired certifications from USA Cycling, The American Council on Exercise, The National Strength and Conditioning Association and The American College of Sports Medicine. She has served on the Personal Trainers Board of Certification and has had several articles published through the I.D.E.A. Association as well as VeloWear.
Shelley's services include One on One Coaching, Training Camps and Clinics, and Wine/Bike Tours. She also specializes in nutritional advice for the athlete.
